Portulaca Simple Garden Smile Mix - Royal Seed RYMA345/1

Easy to grow plant suitable for decorating and edging driveways, flowerbeds or to create areas of colour in dry, gravely soils. Requires very little care. Its stem lies on the ground and bears very bright coloured flowers that can be as large as 3-4 cm. Continues to flower all summer long. Sow from February until May in glass-topped seed trays. Rest the seed on moist compost and cover with a thin layer of fine sand. After 6-7 weeks the plant is ready to be transplanted. Vulnerable to frost.
