Mixed Columbine is a fantastic assortment of different color combinations, all pastel shades of red, lavender, blue, pink and more, paired with lovely gray-green, lobed foliage. The nodding, bonnetlike blossoms are sure to please when they appear in late spring. Be aware, however, that columbine may go dormant if summer brings high heat and drought. But, be patient. They will return in the fall when things cool down. A garden favorite, columbine is a beautiful and easy-to-grow perennial that also attracts butterflies and hummingbirds.
