Sow between April and July, in rows 25 – 30 cm apart. Pull the plants up in October, and used the most developed ones as follows:
1)take the seedlings and cut the leaves 2 cm above the collar
2) cut the roots, reducing them to 1/3 of their length
3) transplant 3 – 4 cm from one another, covering with peat for about 15 cm and lay straw or black
plastic film over the top. Uncover about 3-4 weeks later and ensure the head is completely formed.
