Care Tips
- Light
- Prefers bright, indirect light. Gentle morning sun is beneficial, but avoid strong direct afternoon sunlight to prevent leaf scorch.
- Soil
- Use well-draining, slightly acidic soil (azalea or camellia mix works well). Good drainage is essential—avoid heavy or alkaline soil.
- Watering
- Keep soil evenly moist but not soggy. Water when the top 2–3 cm of soil feels dry. Avoid letting the soil completely dry out, especially during budding and flowering.
- Fertilizer
- Apply diluted acidic plant fertilizer every 2–4 weeks during the growing and budding season to encourage healthy blooms. Reduce feeding after flowering.
