How to arrange it
Check the curtains
Draw the curtains both ways before placing the monstera. Use its leaves as a backdrop and offset the peace lily to one side.
Check the view when seated
Sit where you normally spend time and turn the calathea so its stripes face you. Leave enough clearance to lift the peace lily out for watering.
