Dendrobium Orchids
Should every dendrobium be dried out in winter?
No. Rest requirements differ greatly between groups and hybrids. Identify the supplied type before imposing a dry rest.
Should a flowered cane be cut off immediately?
Keep healthy firm canes unless there is a specific reason to remove them; they can store reserves and some types flower again on older growth.
Can it be planted in normal heavy soil?
Use an open medium suited to the orchid and its roots; compact wet soil restricts root aeration.
Should I repot on delivery day?
Check root condition and drainage first. Avoid unnecessary disturbance to a healthy newly arrived plant; repot when roots or the medium require it.

Free-delivery thresholds depend on your area and order total: HK$500+ for Tung Chung / South Lantau, over HK$800 for Discovery Bay, and HK$1,000+ for other areas. Check the delivery fee at checkout.
Will you bring it inside?
With lift access, plants can be placed indoors. For walk-up buildings, standard delivery is to the building entrance. Stair carrying is extra and should be arranged in advance.
Can I collect it from the nursery?
Yes. Pickup is available at 20D Lo Wai Village, Pui O, Monday–Saturday, 10am–5pm. Please make an appointment once your order is ready.
