GARDEN PLUS · MONSTERA & POTS
A better pot for your Monstera
A new look does not always mean repotting. If the existing growing pot is suitable, choose an outer pot around it. Start with the measurements, then the shape and finish.

One pot to grow in, another to style
For a plant growing in potting mix, the inner pot needs drainage. If it can be moved safely, take it out to water, let excess water drain, and empty the outer pot or saucer before returning it.
A large Monstera or a plant with a heavy support needs a practical plan for moving it and collecting water. Do not force a pot out by pulling the plant.
Measure before you order
-
Measure the existing growing pot
Note the widest rim, overall height and base width. Plant height tells you about the display, not the size of the root ball or nursery pot.
-
Ask for usable inside dimensions
Check the outer pot’s internal opening, depth and base width. A listed outside diameter does not confirm that your growing pot will fit.
-
Leave access for care
Allow room to grasp the inner pot and lift it out. Check drainage holes, the saucer and floor protection before choosing a finish.
Compare three shapes
These are current, orderable styles to explore. The example sizes below are the listed external product dimensions, not a confirmed fit for your existing nursery pot. Ask us to check the inside measurements first.

Cylinder · QG-027
Ø31 × H36 cm
Straight sides give a simple outline beside broad leaves. Check the usable internal depth and plan how to collect runoff.

Tapered · QG-003
Ø30 × H30.5 cm
A tapered profile looks lighter at the base. Check the inside base width as well as the opening: a wide rim does not guarantee room below.

Floral relief · PRM
13 L · W34.2 × H28.7 cm
A white patterned finish adds detail around green foliage. This style does not include a saucer; confirm the drainage arrangement and add suitable floor protection.

Our Monstera listing offers 60–80 cm, 90–120 cm and 130–150 cm plant heights in a basic plastic growing pot. The pot diameter is not specified by height: confirm the actual pot measurements for your chosen plant before ordering a decorative pot.
