Meet the four foliage plants
Start with green leaves and white stripes, or explore upright blades and colourful foliage.
Areca PalmRecommended size: 150–180 cm. Arching feathery fronds create a light, tall backdrop.
ZZ PlantRecommended size: 100–120 cm. Upright stalks and glossy leaflets give the middle layer definition.
Bird’s Nest FernBright green leaves form a rosette, with gently rippled edges that soften the composition.
Calathea VittataFine creamy stripes follow the leaf veins. Place this small plant where you can enjoy its detail.
ROOM TO GROW
Let the light in. Let the leaves grow.
Choose bright, indirect light, sheltered from harsh direct sun. Consider a bright window or shaded balcony; avoid persistently dark corners and direct air-conditioning draughts.
Leave room for light and growth
Place larger plants behind or beside the smaller pots so their leaves do not block the light. Allow room around the spreading palm fronds and measure the available height.
Check each pot before watering
Let the soil of ZZ plants and snake plants dry between waterings. Avoid prolonged dryness for the fern and calatheas. Check each pot separately, drain thoroughly and empty water collected inside decorative pots.
Watch the new leaves
Keep plants away from direct air-conditioning and harsh afternoon sun. Gently remove dust from leaves. Colour, shape and height vary as plants grow; observe light and soil moisture before adjusting care.
A few things before you choose
Can I change the plants?
Yes. The four selectors let you change the palm size, middle plant, contrasting leaves and patterned foreground. Every combination has four pots, with a total based on your selections. Reset returns to our recommendation.
Is delivery still free after changes?
The recommended pairing is HK$1,000 and meets the standard delivery threshold. If changes reduce your total, we show how much remains. Eligibility depends on your order total after discounts and delivery terms.
Does this set need direct sun?
Bright, indirect light is the starting point. Harsh direct sun and persistently dark corners are unsuitable. Protect the fern and Calathea Vittata from scorching sun and adjust positions to each plant’s response.
Are the pictured planters included?
Basic nursery pots are included. The store’s cylinder cement planters shown in the styling images are sold separately and are not included in the HK$1,000 pairing. Choose a planter to fit the actual nursery pot. Leaf density, shape and size vary naturally.
Should I plant everything in one pot?
We recommend separate pots. ZZ plants prefer a drier cycle, while the fern and calatheas need steadier moisture. Separate pots make watering and repositioning easier.
How is delivery arranged?
Delivery follows the store’s current arrangements. The date and service area are subject to confirmation. Contact us for carrying access or special delivery needs.
