Frequently asked questions
Canna ‘Warscewiczii’
Will shredded leaf edges repair themselves?
Existing tears remain. Move the plant out of strong wind and judge recovery from healthy new leaves.
Can a crowded clump be divided?
Established rhizomes can be divided when appropriate for active growth, keeping healthy buds and roots with each piece.
Should I cut all leaves after the flowers fade?
Keep healthy leaves while they are green; they support the underground storage organs for later growth.
Does a resting plant need the same watering?
No. Follow actual leaf growth and root moisture, reducing water as growth slows without leaving the pot saturated.
