Frequently asked questions
Climbing Roses - Red
Will it climb a bare wall?
No. Climbing roses need wires or a trellis and ties.
Why are flowers only near the top?
Very upright canes concentrate growth high up. Gently angle flexible canes and retain useful side shoots.
Should all long canes be cut back?
Keep healthy main canes that form the framework. Prune damaged growth and manage flowered side shoots.
Is 150 cm the final climbing height?
No. It is the listed supplied height including the pot; new canes need additional support space.
