Frequently asked questions
Platycodon Grandiflorus
Should I squeeze the inflated flower buds?
No. The balloon-shaped bud is part of normal development; leave it to open naturally.
Does a quiet period above the soil mean it has died?
It is a herbaceous perennial and can slow or die back seasonally. Check the crown and avoid flooding inactive roots.
Will all flowers be open on arrival?
Bud and flower stage varies by batch and season; images do not guarantee a particular flowering stage.
Can I plant several pots tightly together?
Leave enough space for mature leaves and airflow, especially during humid Hong Kong weather.
