Frequently asked questions
Mint
Can I plant it beside small herbs in one pot?
Mint can spread strongly and crowd neighbours. Separate pots make root control and watering easier.
Are all mint flavours the same?
No. Mentha includes many species and cultivars; confirm the supplied type if a particular culinary flavour is needed.
Can it live on a dark kitchen counter?
Culinary use does not make a herb shade-loving. Grow it where its light needs are met and bring cut leaves indoors.
Can newly bought leaves be used immediately?
Confirm identity and treatment history, follow any harvest interval and wash leaves before culinary use.
